John Coltrane is my second favorite saxophonist of all time (Charlie Parker is my favorite), and I wrote and recorded this saxophone etude in his honor. This etude will help the developing saxophonist to learn how to play major seventh arpeggios moving around the horn in whole steps.
About John Coltrane
John William Coltrane was born on Thursday September 23, 1926 to John R. Coltrane and Alice Blair. Through a tremendous amount of practice, John became a virtuosic tenor saxophonist, and he was also a prolific jazz composer. You can learn more about John Coltrane here.
