Saxophone Etude 1051
Executive Summary
I wrote etude 1051 to improve my sight-reading of 6/8 rhythms in the key of 6 flats. I tried to find an instrument combination that I hadn't used before, so I decided to try alto sax and chimes: I was very happy with the results. My goal: to create a dreamy piece reminiscent of a movie theme. I sincerely hope that you enjoy listening to, practicing along with, and mastering Etude 1051!
