About FOSS
FOSS is an acronym that stands for "Free and Open-Source Software". The freedoms associates with FOSS are four-fold:
- The user of FOSS has the right to use the software as they see fit.
- The user of FOSS has the right to copy the software as they see fit.
- The user of FOSS has the right to study the software's source code as they see fit.
- The user of FOSS has the right to modify and re-distribute the software as they see fit (typically under the terms of a FOSS license).
